In Loving Memory of Brenda Tipton-Crutcher
August 26, 1971 - September 23, 2023
It is with heavy hearts that we share the passing of Brenda Tipton-Crutcher, a beloved wife, mother, sister, grandmother, friend, and cherished member of our community. Brenda's vibrant spirit graced this world for 52 years, leaving an indelible mark on the lives she touched. She will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her.
Brenda was born on August 26, 1971, to her parents Avery & Florence Tipton. Her enthusiastic approach to life was evident from an early age, and her lively spirit continued to shine brightly throughout her journey. Blessed with a kind heart and an infectious smile, Brenda effortlessly spread love and joy wherever she went. Brenda received her education from Arlington High School in 1989. Brenda furthered her education by obtaining her Cosmetologist license in 1990. Brenda accepted Christ as her Lord and Savior at an early age. She was baptized and filled with the Holy Ghost. She loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren, hosting family gatherings, interior decorating, and fashion.
Brenda's greatest joy in life came when she married her long-time friend John Crutcher on April 7, 2014. Together, they shared a love that was admired by all who knew them. Their union was a testament to the power of genuine friendship and unwavering support.
On September 23, 2023, Brenda peacefully passed away, leaving her loving husband, John Crutcher, and a multitude of cherished memories behind. Theirs was a love story that weathered the storms of life, bound together by mutual compassion, respect, and unwavering commitment. John will forever cherish the moments they shared, and their love will endure eternally.
To honor Brenda's remarkable life, her family invites friends, relatives, and acquaintances to join them for various ceremonies. A Visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. followed by the Celebration of Life Service on September 30, 2023, at Grace Apostolic Church, 649 East 22nd Street, Indianapolis, IN 46202. The church doors will open at 10:00 a.m. for the visitation, allowing family and friends to gather and share their fondest memories of Brenda. Together, they will find solace and strength in each other during this difficult time.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Florence Tipton, father, Avery Tipton, and sisters Kathy Tipton Taylor and Sherrie Elliot.
She leaves to cherish her memory husband, John Crutcher, and daughters Brennan (Willie Wade) and Marlo Taylor. Grandchildren Ryann and Amir. Sisters Karen Tipton, Cassaundra Tipton Wright, and Katrice Tipton. A host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, godchildren, and friends.
Though Brenda's physical presence may no longer grace this earth, her vivacious spirit, kindness, and zest for life will forever remain. Her memory will serve as a guiding light, reminding us to embrace every moment and to cherish the relationships that are dear to us.
As we lay Brenda Tipton-Crutcher to rest, let us celebrate her exceptional life and find comfort in the knowledge that her spirit will forever reside within our hearts. May she rest in eternal peace.
