Christopher Sebree

Christopher G. Sebree, age 40 of Indianapolis, Indiana went to meet his Savior on Sunday morning, September 19, 2021.  Chris,or Kaye as his family and friends called him, was born in Indianapolis, Indiana on August 18, 1981 to Veronica (Charles) Robinson of Indianapolis and the late Philip (Sharon) Sebree.  

In his youth, Chris lived in various places in the US being the child of a Marine.  Chris received private education from Christian Schools in various locations and was a graduate from Lawrence Central High School in Indianapolis.  As an adult, Chris found his passion in two areas, cooking and music.  He learned the art of cooking and quickly became a Sous Chef at the Honeywell Center in Wabash and was able to cook for several stars, including BB King!  Chris’s love for music led him to write and record many songs through the years.  Those who knew him well knew what a great cook he was as well as a wonderful rapper, which he enjoyed doing with his wife and brother.  

Chris was a self-less man.  He genuinely cared for people and wanted to help everyone he came in contact with.  He would give you the shirt off his back if he felt like you needed it!  He will be missed deeply by all of those who knew him. 

Chris was married to Chloe Blaze Gosnell of Indianapolis, Indiana and he has a daughter, Makayla Sebree also of Indianapolis, Indiana.  

Chris was a part of a large loving family including sister Felic-ia (Damon) Walls, sister Miranda Martin, sister Adrienne Martin, brother William (Puffy) Sebree, brother Allen (Ali) Martin, brother Gene (Shashanna) Martin, brother Aaron (Letesha) Martin, Grandma Flora (Flo)Woodson, and a host of loving Uncles, Aunts, Nephews and Nieces.  

Chris was proceeded in death by his son, Kristopher Sebree, sister Rachel Martin, Granny Eileen (James) Peacher, Papa William J. Cook and Granddaddy Bubba Charles Woodson.

Services for Chris will be this Friday, September 24th at Sprowl Funeral & Cremation Care, 1134 W 30th St, Indianapolis, IN 46208.  Family and friends may visit beginning at 3pm on Friday with the services immediately following visitation at 5pm.
