Donavan Goodson-Williams Obituary

Donavan Maxwell Goodson-Williams, 25, of Indianapolis passed away Sunday, October 25, 2020 from injuries sustained in a tragic car accident that also took the life of his girlfriend, Jalee, mother of his 16-month old son Jay'von.

Donavan was a loving son and best friend to his mother, Marisa Goodson and his father, Keenan Williams.

Donavan touched many lives in his lifetime.  He did not make friends, he made family.  If he loved you, then you became his brother or his sister and there wasn't anything he wouldn't do for his friends.  Donavan was the life of the party and enjoyed dancing and bringing joy and laughter to everyone around him.  He had a smile that would light up any room.

Donavan was also an avid sports fan and was looking forward to getting both of his son's into sports.  Jayden adored his daddy and loved playing football in the front yard with him.

Donavan leaves a big hole in everyone’s heart who loved him.  To say he will be missed is an understatement!

Besides his parents, Donavan leaves to cherish his memory  two sons, Jayden Maxwell Goodson, 5 and Jay'von Jordan Goodson, 16 months, both of Indianapolis, paternal great grandmother, Alberta Williams of Richmond, IN, paternal grandmother, Eugenia Williams of Westerville, OH, Sisters, Ashley and Kya Williams both of Richmond, IN, Brothers, Chavis Whitaker of Richmond, IN and Jeremiah Williams of Indianapolis, Uncles, Michael Goodson of Huntsville, AL, Dennis Williams (Tara), Dublin, OH, Phil (Charlotte) Williams, Zanesville, OH and Corey (Brian) Williams of Westerville, OH, Aunts, Deanene Warren of Indianapolis, Kathy Wilson of Rome, GA and Carolyn Thompson of Indianapolis, cousins Dante', Mallea, Dorian, Kole, Kendall, Jaylah, Britt, Mackenzie, Jewell and Phil, several nieces and nephews and tons of extended family and friends.
