John Dennison Urich, Jr., age 33, of Indianapolis, IN, transitioned to be with the Lord on Thursday, September 3, 2021. He was born in Indianapolis on April 4, 1988, to John Dennison Urich and Sandra Marlene (Neace) Urich. He graduated from Perry Meridian High School in 2006 and attended Lincoln Tech.
Johnny excelled at wrestling where he is on the PMHS Wall Of Fame for his wrestling accomplishments. Johnny also enjoyed billiards, video games, and spending time with family and friends.
Johnny leaves to cherish his memory, his mother, Sandra Urich, son, Liam Joseph, siblings, Shelby Urich and Laura-Jean Urich, grandmother, Sharron (Gamble) Neace, grandfather, John Neace, nephew, Andrew Phillips; and many beloved aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. Predeceased by his father, John Dennison Urich.
Johnny was motivated by love, kindness, and empathy for others. He had a one-of-a-kind quirky personality and always made people around him laugh. He made friends everywhere he went. His life was a living example of the Bible verse, Ephesians 4:32 — “And be kind and compassionate to one another, forgiving one another, just as God also forgave you in Christ.”Johnny had a heart of gold but wasn't afraid of anyone or anything. He was a fierce protector of those he loved, and his willingness to do anything to right a perceived wrong will be surpassed by none.
Our hearts are broken that you are gone, but take comfort in knowing that you are surrounded by love and reunited with your dad.
Johnny's family will be hosting a Celebration of Life in the upcoming weeks and will post the information shortly. Friends and family are encouraged to share a memory or condolence at www.sprowlfuneral.com
