Karen Denise Ponder

Karen Denise Ponder, age 60, passed away on January 11, 2026. She was a beloved daughter and a proud United States Army veteran who served her country with honor and dedication. Karen will be remembered for her strength, resilience, and the quiet courage with which she lived her life. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.

Family and friends are invited to honor and celebrate her life on Thursday, February 5, 2026, at Sprowl Funeral & Cremation Care. Visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., followed by a Celebration of Life at 12:00 p.m.

Karen will be laid to rest with military honors at Marion National Cemetery.
