Kelly Jean Anderson

March 31, 1966 ~ January 1, 2022 

Kelly Jean Anderson, 55, of Greenwood, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, January 1, 2022 at home with her dog, Miss Kay, by her side.  She was born March 31, 1966 in Indianapolis to Robert Sr and Sandra (Fivecoat) Anderson.   

Kelly was an Event Specialist with CROSSMARK at Sam’s Club.  She was also a primary caregiver to her mother for many years and was an avid dolphin lover and collector.  Kelly had most recently taken interest in cooking and was enjoying learning new recipes.  She enjoyed spending time with her friends and family and taking exceptional care of Miss Kay. 

Kelly is survived by her siblings; Sherri (Vernon) Stidd, Robert (Corina) Anderson Jr, Darla “Red” (Joe Gilliland) Anderson, Tammy (Frank) Chaney; Uncles Jim Fivecoat and Ronnie (Bunny) Fivecoat.  She was a proud Aunt to 11 nieces and nephews; and many great-nieces and nephews.  She was preceded in death by both of her parents. 

Visitation will be held on Saturday, January 8, 2022 from 4:00pm – 6:00pm at Sprowl Funeral & Cremation Care, 1134 West 30th Street, Indianapolis.  Funeral services will be held immediately following visitation at 6:00pm.  Final burial will follow at Forest Lawn Memory Gardens in Greenwood at a future date.
