Larry Wayne Abbott, 45, Kirklin, IN, passed away peacefully and unexpectedly in the arms of his loving wife on Saturday, March 27, 2021 due to an automobile accident. Larry was a lifelong resident of Clinton County, IN. Larry drove a semi for 18+ yrs, was an enthusiastic supporter of Demolition Derby’s (#34 was his number), was an avid fisher, enjoyed working on vehicles, festivals, drinking coffee, road trips, and shooting the breeze as Larry knew no stranger. Most of all adored his baby girl Lux and when time allowed due to such busy lives', catching up and joking around with his son Rusty. Larry was an amazing father, husband, protector, and friend to those closest to him.  

Larry’s tangible and unwavering love for his wife was like no other. Even after 18.5 years together, Larry would often state he and his wife had a love like Johnny and June, to which his wife January would reply “Always lover, 1000 times over”. 
He is proceeded in death by his Mother; Donna S. Swaim (Weber) of Frankfort, IN. 

Larry is survived by his lovely wife, January Abbott; daughter, Luxann Abbott; son, Rusty Abbott (Heaven); Grandchildren, Landyn Abbott, Skylar Abbott; Brother, Pete (Becky) Abbott & Nephew, Levi Abbott ; Brother, Tracy (Darla) Abbott & Nephew, Cody Barnes; Father, Larry B. Abbott, all of Clinton County, IN.

A Celebration of life is tentatively scheduled for Sunday the 25th of April, at his home. Weather & Event Planning pending. Please refer to our social media pages for any updates and or changes.
