Sprowl Funeral and Cremation Care is compassionately serving the family of Myla Ann Johnson, 25,  who passed away on December 1, 2024. There will be a visitation from 10:00 AM  to 12:00 P.M. with a service immediately following at 12:00 P.M. at Pleasant Union Baptist Church, 1202 Eugene St., Indianapolis, IN 46208. Please pray for the family & friends of Ms. Myla Ann Johnson.

Myla Ann Johnson was born on June 8', 1999, to Darlene Eugenia "Dee-Dee" Mason, who preceded her in death, and Michael "Mike" Johnson.

Myla was in the final semester of receiving her High School diploma at the Excel Center.

Myla loved working with children. She previously worked at Tiny Tots & Dots Learning Ministry. She was currently employed as a teacher at the Bundles of Joy Christian Academy. In her spare time, Myla loved listening to music, especially 90's R&B. She also had a list of favorite musicians which included Usher, Brandy, Boss Man Delo, and Summer Walker. When not listening to music, Myla loved watching movies--Boys in the Hood was one of her favorites. Most of all, Myla loved spending quality time with her two daughters, A'Layla and Tayla.

Myla was preceded in death by her grandparents Walter R. Leslie and Ida B. "Patsy" Clark Leslie; her aunt Carmen Ann Summers and uncle Kevin E. Summers; and her cousin Roderick M. Clark.

Myla Ann Johnson departed this life on December 1, 2024. She leaves the following to cherish her memory: her loving father, Michael "Mike" Johnson (Margo); her daughters, A 'Layla Brooks and Tayla Johnson; her sister, Michaela E. Campbell; her uncle, Darrell E. Mason; her aunts Tammi J. Clark, Natalie L. Smith (Brett), and Cellenar R. "Ruthie" Clark (Derrick Morris); her "Sister-cousin" Chelsi Jones-Kincy; and a host of family members and friends.
