Octavia McDade, a beloved member of the Indianapolis community, passed away on October 6, 2023, at the age of 48. She was born on December 26, 1974, to her loving parents, Willie Jones and Mamie McDade.

Octavia was known for her warm smile, kind heart, and unwavering love for her family. She cherished her role as a mother and grandmother and leaves behind her cherished daughter, Shakiyla Rogers, her son, Tyrez Boyd and her grandson, Caiden who mourn her loss deeply. Her parents preceded her in death.

A dedicated and hardworking individual, Octavia achieved a milestone by obtaining her High School Diploma, a testament to her perseverance and determination in pursuing her dreams.

On October 21, 2023, the funeral service will commence at 12:00 pm at Sprowl Funeral & Cremation Care, where Octavia's life will be remembered, her achievements celebrated, and her impact on those around her cherished.  Prior to the funeral service, a visitation will be held at Sprowl Funeral & Cremation Care at 11:00 am on the same day, allowing friends and acquaintances to pay their respects and support Octavia's grieving family.

Octavia's passing leaves a void that can never be filled, but her memory will continue to live on in the hearts of all those who knew and loved her. She will be remembered for her compassion, strength, and the lasting impression she made on those fortunate enough to have crossed her path.

May her soul find eternal peace, and may her loved ones find solace in the cherished memories they shared with Octavia McDade.
