Peggy Hattiex-Penn, age 75, passed away on October 2, 2025. She was a beloved mother, grandmother, and a devoted member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated, and Phi Delta Kappa Sorority, Incorporated. Peggy’s life was marked by her unwavering faith, her love for family, and her dedication to service, education, and community. Her legacy of grace, wisdom, and kindness will continue to inspire all who were blessed to know her.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, October 14, 2025, at New Beginnings Fellowship Church, 2125 N. German Church Rd, Indianapolis, IN 46229. Family and friends are welcomed to come together in love and remembrance, with visitation from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. followed by a Celebration of Life at 12:00 p.m. She will be laid to rest at Washington Park North Cemetery.
