SaKina Marie Davis was born December 16, 1990, to Crystal Davis and Wade Davis in Gary, IN She was the 2ND oldest out of 4 children. Sakina received her formal education Milwaukee, WI and Jefferson City, MO. From a child, Sakina developed a passion for family, and a noteworthy love for her siblings and mother. She was affectionally known as “Kina Wena” with her siblings and “Sweet Pea” by her mother. Her love for her siblings was displayed through weekly visits, text messages, and random trips to Jersey Mike’s with her nephews.
Sakina Marie Davis was 4TH generation Apostolic. She is an example of Acts 2:39. “For the promise is unto you, and to your children, and to all that are afar off, even as many as the Lord our God shall call.” Her passion for music and creative arts was often expressed in her writings. She loved the scriptures and finding unique ways to apply them to her personal life. Her bedroom was often filled with scriptures and encouraging words. She always enjoyed Sunday Morning worships services that allowed her to praise and shout unto God with her siblings and mother. Due to health, she was unable to work, but she never allowed her health to stop her praise to God or spending time with family.
