Shirley (Christon) Trotter

Shirley Trotter, age 82, passed away on December 24, 2025. She was a loving mother and a devoted woman of God—never loud, but always gentle. Shirley’s quiet strength, grace, and faith were felt by all who knew her. She lived with humility and compassion, offering kindness through her actions and love through her presence. She will be deeply missed and fondly remembered.

Family and friends are invited to honor and celebrate her life on Saturday, January 10, 2026, at First Free Will Baptist Church, 2433 Barnes Ave, Indianapolis, IN 46208. Visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., followed by a Celebration of Life at 12:00 p.m.

Shirley will be laid to rest at Washington Park North Cemetery.
