Timothy “Tim” Eugene Fagan was born October 10, 1959 to Milton Jr. and Zella Fagan in Indianapolis Indiana. Timothy attended Indianapolis Public Schools and graduated from Harry E. Wood High School. He went on to serve in the United States Air Force for several years.

Tim accepted Jesus Christ at an early age being baptized at age ten at Metropolitan Baptist Church in Indianapolis, Indiana. He would often play around the house his favorite gospel song, Something About the Name Of Jesus by Rance Allen.

Throughout his entire life, he was a strong believer in being his own boss which prompted his love for entrepreneurship. Tim owned many businesses for many years such as car lots, real estate agencies, and mortgage companies. He owned T.E Fagan, LLC, as well as a trucking company NIY Transportation, LLC named after one of his granddaughters.  He most recently worked for Sleep Number for 11 years as a supervisor, since he loved to always be in charge.

On May 21, 2015, Tim married Floris “Flo” Trotman, who he held such a special friendship for over thirty-five years and whom he loved dearly.

Timothy had a such a charming and infectious personality that could light up any room. He was known for his direct approach to be cutthroat; but loving and loyal to his core. He was like a magnet to everyone that he encountered. Tim’s greatest pride was being a father to his children.  He was a father who corrected their wrongs, celebrated their achievements, stayed engaged in their life, had many carefree moments, and most of all was their FRIEND. He was indeed their provider, protector, and an overall GREAT FATHER. In Tim’s playful nature, he would often refer to his loved ones as a KNOCKOFF; but it was his attempt to remind them to be authentic, true, and never fake. He often reminded everyone of his famous line to “ALWAYS STAY SUCKAFREE”.

On Monday, April 26, 2021, Timothy departed this earth gaining his heavenly wings with family by his side. He was preceded in death by his grandparents Milton Sr. and Leola Fagan, Tuffy Mitchell and Betsy Skaggs, and his parents Milton Jr. and Zella Fagan.
Timothy leaves to cherish his memory; his wife Floris Fagan; five daughters; Kimberly, Courtney, Whitney, Diamond, and Tyler; four sons: Timothy (Chilynn), Donnell, Reggie, and Coy (Chrisi). Stepchildren; Joe (Dorsheia), Jalissa (Kevin), and Akeesha.  Four brothers; Ronald, Melvin (Kim), Reggie (Vanessa), and Stevie; three sisters Sharon (Donald), Arlene, and Yvonne (Leonard); twenty-nine grandchildren, three great- grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
